Upgrade Protection and Support Plan (UPSP)
At FTGate Technology, we aim to provide the most secure, most advanced and feature-packed mail server available today. We constantly update FTGate and release new versions with the latest security and anti-spam features every few months. The internet is constantly evolving and consequently the Internet Standards are updated and changing all the time. New email security issues arise all the time, and FTGate evolves to deal with these developments, in order to give you the best protection for your network.
The UPSP has been developed in response to customer requests for an inexpensive annual payment Plan which will keep organisations always up to date with the latest supported version.

With the initial purchase of your FTGate starter license, you will receive a full year of upgrade protection and support free of charge.
We strongly recommend that all users maintain their UPSP.Although FTGate is very easy to maintain, most of our users require security updates and technical support at some stage, and we can only assist you with updates, plus free email or forum support if you have maintained your UPSP.
The UPSP runs from 1 year from the date of the initial purchase of FTGate or renewal of the UPSP. If at the end of the UPSP period you decide not to renew the plan then you will no longer be eligible for technical support or any updates or patches. You will also be unable to use the UBEBlock+ anti-spam enhancements.
With the initial purchase of your FTGate starter license, you will receive a full year of upgrade protection and support free of charge.
After the UPSP expires, you have up to 30 days in which to renew at this price. After the renewal period has expired users who wish to renew their UPSP may do so during the following year at double the normal renewal price. Contact sales@ftgate.com for ordering, if this applies to you. After this time a full product upgrade price will be charged (currently 90% of the RRP). UPSP renewals will run from the expiry date of the original UPSP.
FTGate will still continue to function normally after your UPSP term expires; however, the plan must be current in order to receive additional software updates and support free of charge.
