What do I get when I order?

Before you order, you need to ensure that you have downloaded and installed FTGate, and that you are entirely satisfied that it is suitable for your purposes. Please note that because of the 30 day trial period, we do not offer refunds, so please ensure you are happy with FTGate before ordering.

With the initial purchase of your FTGate starter license, you will receive a full year of upgrade protection and support free of charge.

IMPORTANT:

The FTGate software, which can be downloaded from this site, is the entire package for which you are purchasing a licence. It contains all the software and documentation required to fully utilise FTGate.

When you place an order with FTGate Technology Ltd you are ordering a licence to use the software. A licence will entitle you to use a single copy of your FTGate product on a single machine. FTGate Technology Ltd will supply you with a registration key that can be entered into the registration properties page of FTGate and which will subsequently enable that copy of FTGate to function.

The licence is not transferable and is subject to restrictions identified in the End User Licence Agreement (EULA) which must be accepted during the software installation, and also appears in the online documentation. By using the software product you are agreeing that you have read and agreed to the EULA.

The registration key which represents your licence will be sent to you by email to the address specified in the order form. If you make an error in entering the email address there will be a delay in supplying you with the registration key.

A CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY will be posted to you, together with your copy invoice. Each certificate has a holographic logo. It is the customers proof that the software product is genuine.

Please note there are no certificates of authenticity for free updated licences obtained via the UPSP.

REGISTRATION OF LICENCES Once you have been forwarded the registration key, it is ESSENTIAL that you register the software with us by signing in to your account and following the online registration and activation instructions. All customers MUST do this. This enables you to obtain your activation key which will unlock the 30 day time-out period of the software. As a registered member you will also receive new product updates if you elect to receive them, plus free email technical support from us. We cannot provide technical support unless you have registered with us, and ensured that your UPSP is current..

 

I want to pay by bank transfer or cheque. What do I do?

Please email sales@ftgate.com with details of your FTGate licence requirements, together with your invoice address, and you will be sent a proforma invoice and payment instructions.

We are a non-profit or educational organisation. Do you give discounts?

Because of our generous discounts, FTGate is widely used throughout the world by large numbers of schools, colleges and registered charities. You can read more here

We offer substantial discounts for non-profit and educational organisations. These only apply for FTGate licences of the following sizes: 100, 500, 1000 or unlimited mailboxes.

How long does it take to process my order?

We try to process all orders within 1 working day of receipt of order. If you have not had a reply by this time please email our sales department sales@ftgate.com. It takes this long to process your order because each order has to be approved by A PERSON before it can be electronically authorised. This is due to the high level of fraud on the internet

Please be careful when completing the order forms as a mistake in your email and fax number will cause delays in the registration key being supplied to you. If you have a fax number, please enter it on the order form, as we need it in case of email failure. If the email notification that we send is not rejected by the e-mail system we will assume that delivery has occurred correctly and will not take any further action

How can I order in a different currency?

If you need prices in a different currency, please go to http://www.xe.net/currency where you can perform a currency translation. We only accept UK pounds sterling. If you are ordering from us directly by credit card on our secure online ordering page, then your credit card company will automatically convert the payment into your currency on your credit card statement.

If you want to order in your own currency, then you must order from one of our authorised resellers.

Do I need to pay VAT?

All prices exclude VAT. If you are in the EC you should add 20% VAT to the listed prices unless you supply a registered EC VAT (value added tax) number. UK customers add VAT as normal. See our VAT FAQ.

Do I have to pay any other Taxes?

All our customers are responsible for paying any extra penalties or other taxes imposed by their own countries themselves. If in doubt check with your government import office.


How do I get a Refund?

We regret that we do not give refunds or cancel orders once the registration key has been issued and sent out to you by email. Please ensure that you have already tried FTGate on the free 30 day trial and that you are completely sure it is suitable for your needs.
