Upgrade Installation

FTGate2009 offers an efficient upgrade process from your existing FTGate Installation. Installation instructions and video demonstrations are available to make the upgrade process as smooth as possible. It is recommended that all customers read the instructions and watch the videos before upgrading. If you have any questions please contact our support team by emailing support@ftgate.com

Please note that you must not install this version into the existing folders for current FTGate. It is a new version not an update. Installing it into the existing folders will result in a non-working system. Please watch the setup video.

Upgrade FAQ

Do I have to pay for an upgrade?

For users of FTGate that have a current valid UPSP agreement the upgrade is free. All other existing customers will need to purchase an upgrade after the trail period ends.

What happens after the trial?

At the end of the trial FTGate will stop processing mail and only the WebAdmin interface will operate. To use FTGate beyond trial period you will be required to purchase a licence.

Which installer do I need?

There is a single installer for all editions of FTGate. You will be prompted for the installation type by the setup wizard.

Will it run on my PC?

Please ensure you meet the minimum system requirements before you install FTGate.

Can I get support during the trial?
